In this project, we were supposed to create a design to go on a T-shirt or paper. I choose to do a butterfly and I put mine on paper. My first sketch of the butterfly was way more detailed but as I actually got into the cutting part I found out that the detail is hard to cut out. I originally had circles or spots on the outsides of the wings but I just ended up cutting out the whole outside edges of the wing. I also thought the way I did the cutting on the inside made it more difficult for me in the end because the lines in the wings were coming off and it just wasn't printing well. In the first print its patchy because I didn't get the ink all the way on and in the second one is better but it didn't catch the lines in the top wings so it just looks plain black. And in the third one, I think there is a right amount of ink but the top wing still looks like there are no lines in it. But I do like the emphasis in the lines because it brings contrast to the butterfly.
