This project so far is my favorite. I think this is the best artwork I've done. I chose a rose for this project because I thought it would look cool and my middle name is rose so it had significance to me. I was unsure where to put my shading or cross-hatching but I figured it out and just went with it. The first print was kind of messy because it still had ink but the next two were better. In the final print that I colored, I was going between two reds and I ended up going with both. I think the two different colors in the rose help bring emphasis to the picture. The red does kind of hide the crosshatching and you can't see it as well but I like it the way it is.
